I was bitten by a stray dog - I'm afraid of rabies it's 3 days now. What are symptoms of rabies infection ?
Rabies symptoms take a while to appear - one to three months. Symptoms include fever, insomnia, confusion, hallucinations, etc. Even if you don't have rabies symptoms, if you were bitten by an animal, go to the doctor right away. Animal bites often become infected and are dangerous even if you don't get rabies. With rabies, you need to get treated BEFORE the symptoms appear - by the time you see symptoms, it's almost always too late.
