Raising kids is a lot of work! Suggests first having two kids, and spending a lot of time raising them yourself. Your wife may appreciate the help and want more kids, or you may realize it's way too much work, and quit after two. Perhaps, both of you can compromise and settle on three. In either case, having children never turns out exactly the way you imagined - take it one at a time!
